I find it interesting that CT has such a bad rep compared to other states. We have bad drivers (clearly seen by yesterday's episode), we're rude. And there's nothing to do on the weekends if you don't drink, smoke, etc.
So I've decided to change that for my circle of influence. My drivings okay, so there's not much I can do about that...but I have decided to refrain from using my horn unless absolutely neccesary. (I never use it...so when I want to use it...I have to think about where it is...lol).
I'm working on being even more polite than normal. Small compliments can go a long way. I feel like I'm always smiling (b/c when I don't, I look mean...real story), but I'm gonna work on sharing genuine smiles with everyone. Not just the people I like.
And I'm gonna work on getting people connected. I know it's impossible for me to keep a million healthy friendships, but if I have my healthy circle of friends and I introduce an acquaintance to someone in that circle...maybe they can join my friends circle. (If that made any sense...it does in my head...lol).
But if I share that with everyone...exactly what makes my close friends special? What sets them apart? I'm a big fan of hugs. So if I consider you a close friend, I'll hug you on a regular basis.
So there's my schpeel for the day. : )
